This century old villa has all the charm of the area with all the modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable. The villa sleeps six, with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. It also has a DSL line and satellite dish. You can watch the sunrise with your cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the gardens in the master bedroom. Downstairs is a gourmet kitchen (complete with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, and garbage disposal), and full service laundry room.
The dining room/living room invites guests to relax in front of a large stone fireplace, play the baby grand piano, watch DVDs and videotapes, or tune into TV stations in French, German and English – or just build a fire and watch the flames while sipping on fine French wine.
The beautiful gardens with 13 fruit trees, grape arbor, and 11 olive trees encourage guests to relax in the swing, pick the fruit, and smell the roses and lavender framing the property. At the bottom of the estate is a warm Jacuzzi to sooth visitor’s muscles after a long day.
The villa is a half hour drive from the Mediterranean cities of Nice, Antibes and Cannes. And it is a short drive to Grasse for a visit in the perfume factories and to Gourdon for lunch overlooking the Mediterranean coast and the Loup River valley, or a drive to Tourettes-sur-Loup to browse in the many small shops.
Nestled in the foothills of the Loup Valley on a rocky spur between Grasse and Vence, is the small village of Le Bar-sur-Loup, “The Village of Oranges.” This medieval village is lovingly restored, with the old houses clustered around the 13th-century chàteau and church in the center. There are three restaurants, a grocer, boulangerie, boucherie, news shop and post office.
