This delightful villa is near the 11th century medieval village of Mougins, well known for its winding pedestrian streets filled with art galleries and over a dozen excellent restaurants. It is only 20 minutes from Nice Airport, yet retains its peaceful village charm. And while only 6km from Cannes and the Mediterranean Sea, it has the feel of being in the heart of the Provence countryside. Mougins is centrally placed to explore the coastal highlights of Cannes, Nice and Monaco, not to mention the charming Provencal neighboring villages of Grasse, Valbonne, St Paul de Vence, and Biot to name just a few.
The villa is completely renovated in a modern design but retaining much of the old Provencal style and has of 150mē of comfortable living space on three levels.
The first floor consists of a main entrance into the spacious living room with high ceiling, comfortably furnished with sofa and armchairs. This room opens onto a spacious terrace furnished for outdoor dining while enjoying the views.
The open plan kitchen is nicely equipped with dishwasher, gas and electric cook top, oven and fridge/freezer. The dining room has a large table seating 6. On this floor is the first bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk bed over. This room would be suitable for 2 adults or older children. There is a half bath with WC and basin.
The top floor has an open and light lounge area with a TV, High Speed Internet access and a spacious master bedroom with large queen bed and en suite bathroom with shower stall.
On the garden level is the third bedroom with 2 single beds (may be joined to form a king if preferred). This bedroom has an independent entrance with its own access to the pool and garden and is very private and undisturbed. There is a bathroom with shower that also serves as a laundry room with washing machine/tumble dryer. This bedroom is accessed from the pool patio.
There are lovely views towards Cannes and the sea and a beautiful view of old Mougins village. The grounds are composed of a large and flat lawned garden with beautiful trees and flowers and and newly renovated pool with fine stone tiles and patios.
